Manufactured from cold-formed steel, Albion 62 Series casters feature heat-treated king bolt and nut, which ensures durability and a longer caster life. Each rig is zinc-plated, which increases corrosion resistance. Zerk fittings in heat-treated swivel section provides easy maintenance. Yoke bases on swivel casters are notched to accommodate optional swivel locks.

Offering thicker legs and a 3/4″-diameter axle, the 63 Series improves on the popular 62 series for increased capacity. Manufactured from cold-formed steel, 63 Series casters can withstand most heavy duty applications. 272 Swivel Dual Wheel

Albion 272 casters are dual wheel versions of our 72 series. This dual wheel version was designed for greater capacity and better distribution of floor load with the lowest possible overall height. Each caster has differential action when changing direction, greatly reducing the scrubbing effect which results from usage of wide-faced, small diameter wheels. 272 rigs are manufactured of hot-forged steel, designed for extended life in rugged applications.

Albion 94BBL Super Duty Casters utilize a ball load swivel section. The swivel load raceway uses a 5”-diameter ball load race with 1/2″ steel balls hardened for greater resistance to wear and brinelling. The raceway is protected by a forged labyrinth skirt. The thrust raceway uses a 1-1/4” tapered roller bearing. Combined with AISI 1405 drop forged steel top plate and yoke base, 94BBL casters have a long life with large weight capacities, perfect for very rugged applications.

Albion 95 Series casters provide long life with great capacity for rugged applications. Rigs are made with 1045 AISI drop-forged steel for extended use and strength.

Casters with BBL denote a Ball Load Swivel Raceway, and feature a 7-inch diameter machined and hardened load raceway with ball bearings, for smooth movement and extended wear. The thrust bearing is a 1-1/4-inch tapered roller bearing.

95 TRL Series

Albion 95 Series casters provide long life with great capacity for rugged applications. Rigs are made with 1045 AISI drop-forged steel for extended use and strength.

Casters with “TRL” denote a Tapered Thrust Swivel Raceway, and feature a 7″ diameter machined load raceway with a precision tapered roller bearing protected by a labyrinth skirt. The thrust bearing is a 1-1/4″ tapered roller bearing.

42 Series

Spring-loaded casters are designed to protect the transported load. Albion 42 series casters protect from damaging shocks or unwanted vibration and movement. 42 Series provides greater capacities than the Albion 40 Series. Noise levels are reduced through the dampening effects of the springs.

42 Series maximum-rated capacities will deflect the wheel approximately 5/8″ (50%). Different load springs for each series permits a wide variation in ride ‘softness.’ The springs can be preloaded to obtain various degrees of deflection; contact factory for more details.

141 Series

141 Series

Albion 141 Series casters feature a polyurethane spring, and are designed with features tailored to meet the varied needs of the aviation ground support equipment and automotive industries. 141 Series casters are equally at home in other extremely abusive and rugged applications. The durable and corrosion-resistant polyurethane spring helps protect cargo from unwanted vibration and damaging shocks. The solid spring material has no spring coil where debris can jam the spring action.

Yellow Zinc Dichromate is the attractive, standard finish and provides better corrosion resistance than normal zinc plating. 141 Series are quiet rolling, rugged kingpinless casters. Kingpinless casters eliminate kingpin failure – the leading cause of caster failure.

850 Swivel

850 Series

Albion 850 Series are kingpinless dual wheel casters designed to meet the varied needs of the aviation ground support equipment industry. These robust casters are equally at home in many other extremely abusive and rugged applications.

850 Series top plates are made of 3/4″-thick AISI 1045 steel, a one-piece forging machined and through-hardened for long life. Legs are 3/4″-thick through-hardened steel, welded to yoke base (directly to top plate on rigid) using 100,000 psi weld filler.

330 Series

For the heaviest-duty applications, the 330 Series features a thick, precision-machined grade 316 stainless swivel section and 304 stainless steel rig. Both are highly polished for aesthetic. Ideal for applications exposed to cleaning agents, wash-downs, caustic solutions, steam, marine environments, or any other corrosive agents which could cause rust.

All components, including the ball bearings in the kingpinless swivel section, are stainless. Kingpinless casters eliminate kingpin failure – the leading cause of caster failure. Kingpinless casters also increase a caster’s ergonomic abilities, making them more ideal to reduce employee strain.
