PI Polyurethane on Cast Iron

Albion PI polyurethane on cast iron wheels are composed of a polyurethane elastomer, open cast or injection molded, on clean, close tolerance cores. The polyurethane tread is chemically bonded to a cast iron core. High capacity polyurethane protects floors, is non-marking and delivers quieter operation than standard metal wheels.

TM Phenolic

Albion Phenolic caster wheels are molded of heavy macerated or chopped cotton denim, impregnated with phenolic resin and formed in close fitting molds under high pressure and temperature. They are non-marking and excellent load carriers.

NW White Nylon

VM Ductile Iron V-Groove

Albion Ductile Iron wheels have higher capacities than standard cast iron wheels, and are able to better withstand shock and abuse from impact-loading.

TR High-Heat Phenolic

Albion TR wheels are heat-resistant phenolic resin wheels. Similar to the Albion TM wheels, these wheels are manufactured from macerated denim cotton that has been impregnated with a high-temp phenolic resin. The denim-resin mixture is then formed in close-fitting molds under high heat and temperature until set. TR wheels are non-marking and excellent load carriers, and have higher heat tolerances than their TM counterparts.

XV Polyurethane V-Groove

Albion XV wheels are polyurethane wheels with v-grooves for use with floor tracking systems. The wheels have a relief groove at the base of the V, which helps equalize the load to each face of angled track when in operation. Wheel face and bore are machined for concentricity to proper tracking. These wheels can be used not only on a track, but any flat surfaces. When using a track, please be aware that track alignment is critical for proper operation.

SF Pneumatic Rubber

Full Pneumatic (SF) are recommended for the greatest possible protection to both loads and floors. If you transport fragile materials or parts, or if you move delicate instruments over rough floors, you should consider a pneumatic tire. Full pneumatics cushion the load on air, just like an automobile. They must be properly inflated as indicated in wheel table. These tires can be filled with urethane foam to make them deflation proof, but foam has no effect on capacity. Suitable for extended service.

PB Polypropylene

This wheel is an injection molded blend of thermoplastic polymers which resist absorption and are resistant to most chemicals and solvents. Capacity ratings are comparable to hard rubber wheels with the added advantage of being lighter in weight and having greater impact resistance.

MH Rubber on Cast Iron
