Albion Ductile Iron wheels have higher capacities than standard cast iron wheels, and are able to better withstand shock and abuse from impact-loading.

Wheel face and â€œVâ€-groove are machined into ductile iron wheel.. A relief groove at the base of the â€œVâ€ tends to equalize the load to each face of the angle track when in operation. Wheel face and bore are machined for concentricity to proper tracking. These wheels can be used not only on a track but flat surfaces as well.

All measurements indicate the wheel diameter by the tread width.

The below capacity ranges indicate the working (dynamic) load that each caster will support. A safety factor should be included in your formula to determine your required load rating per caster.

W/(C-1)=R

W is total weight needed to move. C is total number of casters required. R is ideal load rating, with safety factor built in. Divide the total load weight by one less caster than you will use to safely determine load rating.

All plate measurements are the overall plate dimensions. If replacing casters, please select the closest match to see if the bolt holes match to your current plate.
