What personal data we collect and why we collect it

Contact forms

This website is a lead generation tool. Interested customers are asked throughout multiple contact forms to provide contact information, including Name, Address, Phone Number, and Email Address. Intended for business-to-business transactions, these forms also ask for business information, including job title, estimated annual dollars (USD) spent on caster and accessory purchases, and the kind of projects the customer needs the product for, along with the type of assistance needed. Customers may also upload images to help identify needs or issues for communication with Albion Casters (see “Media” below). The data supplied via these contact forms is stored within the website database and passed to Colson Group’s customer relationship management (“CRM”) system. From the CRM, the data is either shared with a Colson Group employee or with a Colson Group-approved distributor. The information collected is utilized to best provide the sales teams information to provide caster and accessory recommendations. Fiancial transactions do not occur on this website and financial data is not collected.

CAD Model and Datasheet Downloads

The 3D CAD Model and Datasheet download features of this website are provided through a contracted service with CADENAS PartSolutions. Their privacy policy can be accessed at this link: https://partsolutions.com/terms/privacy-policy/ In addition, the data they collect in their embedded CAD viewer is passed to Colson Group’s CRM for assessment of lead quality and need.

Media

Visitors and potential customers are able to upload images to the site for sales assistance needs. If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. While these images are not accessible to the public, location and other meta-data can be extracted from images. Image uploads are optional and are not required.
